The Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Xhelal Sveçla, is on an official visit to the Republic of Croatia, where he was received by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Davor Božinović.

During the meeting, the two ministers discussed the security situation in both countries, with a special focus on the new developments and the mutual commitment to strengthen cooperation in this area.

The meeting reaffirmed that the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Croatia enjoy excellent cooperation relations, especially in the field of security, based on common goals for peace, stability and lasting security in the region.

Minister Sveçla’s visit to Zagreb is taking place in the course of the Ministerial Meeting of the Salzburg Forum, currently being held in Croatia under the leadership of Minister Božinović. Discussions at this Ministerial Forum will continue on key security issues of importance for our region and beyond.
