-For vehicles with valid registration at the time of applying for Kosovo plates (RKS), they are not required to present the Technical Worthiness Certificate.

-According to Government Decision No. 01/170 dated 30.10.2023 and Administrative Instruction No. 05/2022 ON THE REGISTRATION WITH “RKS” PLATES OF VEHICLES POSSESSING “PR”, “KM”, “PZ”, “GL”, “UR”, “PE” DHE “DA” APO “ĐA” PLATES, Article 7 allows for the change of ownership.

Is registration possible in all municipalities
ANSWERS
Yes, vehicle registration can be done in all municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo, regardless of the owner’s place of residence. However, the owner must obtain plates from the region where he/she resides.

The passport can be processed expeditiously within 72 hours (only business days are counted). Additional fee is 50 Euro.
Po, por kërkohet autorizimi origjinal dhe i vulosur nga noteri, apo nga gjykata, ose kopja e noterizuar nga origjinali. Nëse autorizimi është ne gjuhe te huaj, duhet te jete i përkthyer ne njërën nga gjuhët zyrtare.

Letërnjoftimi mund të merret me procedurë të përshpejtuar në afatin kohor brenda 72 orë ( llogariten vetëm ditët e punës) . Tarifa shtesë është 50 Euro.
Pasaporta, letërnjoftimi dhe patentë-shoferi lëshohen brenda 15 ditëve (sipas procedurës së rregullt), ndërsa procedurca me urgjencë brenda 72 orëve.
Regjistrimi i mjeteve bëhet në QRA-të përkatëse ,në bazë të vendbanimit apo vendqëndrimit të pronarit të mjetit, ndërsa vazhdimi mund të bëhet sipas dëshirës së palës në cilën do QRA.
