Department for Non-Governmental Organizations

Duties and responsibilities of the Department for Non-Governmental Organizations are as follows:

 

  1. Administers policies related to registration, financial reporting and cooperation with relevant institutions and NGOs.
  2. Accepts, analyses and decides on NGO registration applications;
  3. Accepts, reviews and decides on NGO public benefit status (PBS) applications;
  4. Issues certificates for registration and PBS of NGOs;
  5. Receives and analyses annual reports on NGO financial statements;
  6. Administers the database for registered NGOs.

  1. Division for NGO Registration;
  2. Division for Financial Reporting of NGOs.
