The Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Xhelal Sveçla, in a special meeting, hosted the special envoy of the United Kingdom for the Western Balkans, Mr. Lord Stuart Peach. The meeting was an important opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the field of security in the Republic of Kosovo, with a special focus on the north of the country.

Minister Sveçla expressed his appreciation for the continuous support provided by the United Kingdom to security institutions in Kosovo and welcomed their willingness to strengthen international cooperation in the fight against organized crime.

Both parties considered this meeting an important step towards strengthening cooperation and coordination of actions in the field of security in Kosovo, thus improving the safe environment for all citizens of Kosovo.
