Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Xhelal Sveçla received the ambassador of France in Kosovo, h.m. Mrs. Marie Christine Butel for a farewell meeting.

In this meeting, Minister Sveçla thanked Ambassador Butel for her cooperation and engagement in Kosovo and especially for her active role in raising and strengthening the capacities of the Executive Agencies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Ambassador Mrs. Butel highly appreciated our commitment in the fight against crime and corruption, and in particular thanked the Minister for the willingness offered to help in the management of the fires that the whole of Europe has faced.

The Republic of France and the Republic of Kosovo enjoy excellent bilateral relations and Minister Sveçla reiterated that we will engage in the further deepening of these relations.

On the occasion of the end of her three-year mission in the Republic of Kosovo, Minister Sveçla wished success in her future commitments to the Ambassador, Mrs. Marie Christine Butel.
