Council of Ministers holds meeting on Public Administration Reform

The following meeting of the Council of Ministers on Public Administration Reform (CMPAR) was held today, which is a key institutional mechanism to ensure the implementation of the public administration reform.

 

Deputy Minister Bardhyl Dobra, who led the meeting of the Council of Ministers on PAR, highlighted that the public administration reform, as provided by the Government programme, remains a priority of the Government of Kosovo, aiming at a substantial change of quality of services to citizens, businesses and institutions in creating a modern and agile administration in order to successfully conclude the accession of the Republic of Kosovo in the European Union.

 

On this occasion, the parties reported on the implementation of strategic documents, including:

 

- 2022-2024 Action Plan for the implementation of the 2022-2027 Strategy on Public Administration Reform; and

 

- 2022-2024 Action Plan for the implementation of the 2022-2026 Strategy on Public Finance Management.

 

The above reports were unanimously approved by the CMPAR.

 

At the end of the meeting, the participants committed that the Government remains dedicated to cooperate closely to ensure the appropriate and sustainable functioning of the public administration through effective development, implementation and review of government policies
