The Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Xhelal Sveçla, hosted the Italian Ambassador to Kosovo, Antonello De Riu, who was accompanied by Police Attaché Silvio Esposito.

Minister Sveçla and Ambassador De Riu talked about the current dedications of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the security situation and the strengthening of bilateral cooperation, which will make happen during the visit of the Minister Sveçla to Italy in the days to come.

With Ambassador De Riu and Police Attaché Esposito, Minister Sveçla also discussed the progress of police cooperation and the possibilities of advancing this cooperation.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and its agencies remain a cooperative and pro-active part with the Italian authorities and are always thankful for Italy's continued support in building and strengthening capacities in implementing its mandate.
