The Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, received today the Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Ambassador Gerard McGurk.

On this occasion, Ambassador McGurk congratulated Minister Sveçla on his reappointment as Minister of Internal Affairs. During the meeting, both parties highly appreciated the cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the OSCE Mission in Kosovo to date.

The meeting focused on further deepening this cooperation, with an emphasis on strengthening public security and effectively combating organized crime, corruption, terrorism and other forms of criminality.

Ambassador McGurk expressed the OSCE Mission's full readiness to continue its support and contribute to identifying concrete modalities for achieving common objectives.
