Minister Sveçla meets with Lithuanian Minister of the Interior, Vladislav Kondratovič

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Xhelal Sveçla, met today with Mr. Vladislav Kondratovič, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, and a high-level delegation from the Lithuanian Ministry of Internal Affairs who are on an official visit to Kosovo.
During the meeting, the two ministers discussed deepening bilateral cooperation in the areas of security, public order, combating organized crime, migration, and border management.
Mr. Vladislav Kondratovič, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Lithuania, expressed admiration for the progress Kosovo has made in strengthening its security institutions and emphasized his country's readiness to further enhance cooperation with our country.
On the other hand, Minister Sveçla expressed his gratitude for Lithuania’s ongoing support for the Republic of Kosovo.
Both parties have committed to continuing and intensifying their mutual relations in the field of security, enhancing cooperation in this sector, and exchanging experiences to further develop security institutions.
As part of this meeting, the two ministers signed the Protocol on the Implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Government of the Republic of Lithuania on the Readmission of Persons Residing Without Authorization.
