Division for Private Security Services (DPSS)

The mission of the division: The Division for Private Security Services serves as the focal point for all matters relating to private security services, carries out licensing and authorization functions for private security companies and security workers, organizes certification and recertification exams of security workers, issues official identification cards for security workers, provides threat assessment for secured persons, conducts inspection, monitoring and review of the activities of private security companies, business entities, security workers and all those who exercise private security activity, issues, amends, extends, suspends and revokes licenses, and imposes fines, etc.
