Enver Dugolli,

 First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs

Enver Dugolli was born on January 27, 1963, in Nekoc, Drenica. He completed his primary and secondary education in Drenas, while he completed his undergraduate and master's studies in sociology at the University of Pristina.

Due to his political activities and beliefs, he was imprisoned twice by the regime of the time: first in 1981 and then in 1997. He served over ten years in different prisons. He is one of the survivors of the Dubrava Prison Massacre, committed in May 1999. He was released from his second imprisonment in 2001.

After the war, he served in the Kosovo Protection Corps (KPC), and then in the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), where he performed a number of important military roles. In 2018, he completed his military career from the position of Defense Attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Tirana, and retired with the honorary rank of Brigadier General.

He began his regular political engagement in March 2018, joining the VETËVENDOSJE! Movement, where he also became a member of the General Council and the Professional Defense Committee.

During his career, he has held a number of important state and political positions. He was the First Deputy Minister of Defense in the Kurti I Government and, for a short period, also in the Kurti II Government. He was elected a member of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo in the VIII and X legislatures, and served as the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Security and Defense Issues.

He currently holds the position of Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
