Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Yildiray Bayram, received today for a meeting the EULEX Integrated Border Management Senior Advisor, Alan Wilson, and Representative from the US Embassy EXBS Program, Shpresa Kusari.

The meeting had mainly the character of setting concrete objectives and the maximum utilization of the National Centre for Border Management in the prevention of criminal phenomena and activities, both at the border and within the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.

During this meeting, Mr Wilson stressed that "EULEX Mission is committed to continuing cooperation and coordination with the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo".

The participants in this meeting jointly emphasized the role and importance of this Centre in increasing cooperation and coordination between law enforcement authorities and the provision of services to citizens.
