Given that the situation is more stable for the time being, due to the precipitation cessation and the drop in water levels, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, through the Emergency Operations Center, remains committed to providing the main and alternative passable roads through EMA, and provide in coordination with Public Enterprises drinking water, as well as meet other possible needs of citizens in flooded areas.
The relevant institutions have intervened in two locations in the Municipality of Skënderaj, and in 4 locations in Mitrovica, and drinking water tanks have been provided in these two municipalities as needed. The pump intervention for the removal of water started in some locations in the Municipality of Klina, and depending on the needs, it will continue in other areas of this municipality.
As the Ministry of Internal Affairs, we are fully available to act in all municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo and assist all our citizens without distinction. We urge you for increased caution and, in case of need, ensure communication with the relevant institutions through emergency numbers: 112, 192, 193 and 194.
